This command lets you start up a brand spanking new OmniOutliner document from the default new document template.

This command opens a new document that conforms to a template of your choice from the sub-menu.

This is a standard Macintosh command. It shows a dialog for finding an existing OmniOutliner file to open. When you open a file, it is in the state it was in the last time you saved it.

This is the gateway to a sub-menu that lists the most recent OmniOutliner files you have opened. At the bottom of the sub-menu is a Clear Menu command that will make OmniOutliner forget about those documents.

This command closes the current document. If you have made changes since the last save, you will get a chance to save those changes before closing.

This command saves the current version of the file to the disk. If this is a new document that has not been saved before, you will have a chance to specify the name and location of the saved file.

If you want to save your work in a new file, use this command. You will be able to specify the name and location of the saved file.

This command will save all open documents to their current name and location. If any of them have not yet been named, you will get a chance to specify the name and location for the saved file.

Oops! If you make some changes that you don't want to keep, you can use this command to return to the last saved version of the file.

Use this menu item to create a version of your current OmniOutliner file in a different file format. There is a whole boatload of information about this stuff in the Exporting an Outline section.

Not all of these file formats support all of the features of OmniOutliner 3! This means that if you export your document to HTML, you may lose some of the formatting or other special features you've used in your document.

This command opens the Page Setup sheet, with which you can specify how you want your document to print.

This command takes you to a standard OS X Print dialog. Use this command to print your document to paper or to PDF. Before printing you can change some print-time options.
